Bojan targets Spain Olympic call-up

Roma forward Bojan Krkic says he has "not lost hope" of playing in the Olympics for Spain, despite having not played for the senior side since making his debut in 2008.

Bojan, 21, made his one and only international appearance in a friendly against Armenia three-and-a-half years ago, but has been a regular with Spain's Under-21s, playing in the side that won last year's European Champioonship.

He moved to Roma last summer in a bid to play regular first-team football after four years with Barcelona but has struggled to make an impact in Serie A.

However, Bojan insists he is still working hard to improve his game and has targeted a place in the Spain squad for the 2012 Olympics in London.

"I have not lost hope of going to the Games in London,'' the striker said. "Here, I am still growing. I am 21 years old and have many things to learn. My feelings are still positive.''
