Jorgensen to join PSV in summer

PSV Eindhoven have completed the signing of Denmark defender Mathias Jorgensen from FC Copenhagen on a four-year contract.

Jorgensen, 21, a centre-back, put pen to paper on his new deal at the Philips Stadion, and will join the Eredivisie club on a free transfer when his Copenhagen contract expires in the summer.

''It's very nice to be in this stadium with a lot of history and finally know that I'm going to be a part of it this summer,'' he told PSV TV. ''I am very happy about it. I have recovered from knee injury. I hope to make my comeback shortly and be fully fit again in summer.''

Jorgensen is recovering from an injury that has kept him out for most of this season but he hopes to be fit to play for his country at Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine this summer.
