United host Liverpool in what promises to be a feisty clash at Old Trafford on Saturday, and they also face a trip to third-placed Tottenham before the end of the month.
Having battled from 3-0 down to claim a draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend, Giggs believes a good run of results in the coming weeks will put them in pole position to claim their 20th Premier League title.
"We know it's a tough run of games but these are the games you want to be playing in," Giggs told Inside United. "We're not quite at the make-or-break part of the season, but it's an important time and we know that if we win these games then we'll be in good shape going into the run-in."
United's clash against rivals Liverpool is a head-to-head of the two most successful English clubs, with United's 19th league success last season eclipsing the Reds' longstanding record. With Liverpool winning their latest encounter in the FA Cup fourth round, Giggs expects a tight battle on Saturday.
"They're a club similar to us with massive history," he said. "We're the two most successful teams in the country, so we know we've got to perform and play well to get anything from any game against them.
"We know we're in for a tough game. It's the club we tried to catch for so long and now we've caught them the challenge is to stay ahead."
