 Marshall joins Foxes

Winger Ben Marshall has joined Championship side Leicester from Stoke for an undisclosed fee.

The 20-year-old would have been out of contract in the summer and was allowed to leave permanently following a successful five-month loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday in League One.

The departure of Marshall, who did not make a first-team appearance for the Potters, may open the door for a late deadline-day swoop by Stoke boss Tony Pulis.
