Hamsik, who is a reported target of Manchester City and AC Milan, already has a deal with Napoli until 2015.
And the Slovakia international told Gazzetta dello Sport: "Everything is agreed, all that is missing is the signature.''
Hamsik has been offered improved terms to keep him at Napoli until 2016. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has been a regular at the San Paolo stadium since arriving from Brescia in 2007.
