AFC Wimbledon will hand fitness tests to Rashid Yussuff and Will Antwi ahead of the visit of Port Vale.

Midfielder Yussuff is back in full training after missing the 2-2 draw against Wycombe 12 days ago with a knee injury, while defender Antwi has been carrying a hip problem.

Warren Cummings could return to the squad after shaking off a hamstring injury but fellow full-back Curtis Osano is doubtful with a calf strain.

Top scorer Byron Harrison returned as a sub against Wycombe after a back injury and is challenging Jack Midson and Paul McCallum, who has extended his loan spell from West Ham, for a start in attack.

Midfielder Sammy Moore has recovered from a broken leg but could do with a reserve game.

Port Vale boss Micky Adams looks set to give defender Daniel Jones his first start for the club.

The 26-year-old joined the League Two leaders last week following his release by Championship side Sheffield Wednesday and is likely to make his debut on Thursday.

Fellow new signings Lee Hughes and Darren Purse are both expected to keep their places in the side after impressing during Vale's win over promotion-rivals Gillingham last time out.

Adams will give late fitness tests to injured duo John McCombe (medial ligament damage) and Louis Dodds (knock).

Both players missed the 2-1 victory over Gillingham, but with Saturday's match against Bradford falling victim to the weather, the pair have had extra time to recover and could return to action.
