Six could be missing for Ross
Dumbarton can include loan signings Nicky Devlin and Mark Lamont against Third Division East Stirling, however interim manager Jack Ross could be without six players for the clash.
Long-term injury victims Kevin Nicol and Pat Walker remain out while Alan Lithgow, James Creaney, Chris Turner and Bryan Prunty all face Saturday lunchtime fitness tests to determine whether they can be included.
Ross said: "East Stirling's form over the past month has been good and John Coughlin is a very experienced coach but we are desperate for the win after the disappointment against Airdrie last Saturday.
"The players were fantastic for most of the match and deserved more than to lose the game in the final seconds but we have the opportunity to bounce back in this game.''
East Stirling have been given permission from St Mirren to play loan signings Sean Kelly and Jamie McKernon.
Head coach John Coughlin was delighted to hear that news after Rhys Devlin, Michael Herd, Jamie Benton and Craig Donaldson were all ruled out with injury.
Coughlin said: "I am glad we have these guys available as we will be facing a side that will be determined to impress whoever their new manager is going to be.
"The managerial change down there has probably made a hard game even harder for us but the one thing I will be asking my players for is a much improved performance to the one we gave at Annan last week when we lost 5-2."
