Third Division leaders Queen's Park will be without promising full-back Andrew Robertson against Annan as he serves the second game of a two-match ban.

The Spiders will also be missing Giuseppe Capuano and Allan Urquhart as they look to make it four league wins in a row and open up a three-point gap on Peterhead.

Two former Hampden players could upset head coach Gardner Speirs' plans as he explained: "We lost Michael Daly and David Murray to Annan over the summer and I'm sure they will want to come here and remind everyone how good they are.

"Annan will be hurt after losing to Buckie last Saturday and that will make a difficult game even more difficult.''

Annan have added former Hamilton youngster David Hopkirk to their squad for the trip after agreeing a loan deal with Queen of the South.

Midfielder Jack Steele and striker Graeme Bell continue to be out through injury with Galabank boss Harry Cairney looking for a positive reaction from his side following their shock Scottish Cup replay loss to Buckie Thistle last Saturday.

Cairney said: "It was a really awful result last weekend but a win at Queen's Park would be a good way to start recovering from it. We need the players to stand tall in this game as we cannot sit back and let Queen's Park get their passing game going.

"They will do that for fun all day if you let them.''
