Dnipro defender Vitaly Denisov is hopeful his team can exploit AIK's weak spots as they prepare to meet in Solna for their Europa League Group F contest.

The Ukrainian side made a positive start to their European campaign with a victory over PSV Eindhoven a fortnight ago while AIK were beaten by Napoli.

Denisov revealed they have done their homework ahead of Thursday's match and is confident they can hit their Swedish opponents where it hurts.

"We have watched videos of our opponents so we know a great deal about them,'' he said on www.fcdnipro.ua.

"I think their main strength is that they are playing at home. The team play flowing football and also know how to hit opponents on the counter attack.

"They work well down the wings and have some good strikers of the ball.

"However, like any team, they also have their weaknesses and we will try to exploit them.''

As well as battling in Europe, AIK also have one eye on their domestic campaign which is approaching its climax.

The club lie third in the Allsvenska table, just two points behind leaders Elfsborg with seven rounds remaining.

The Europa League could be seen as something of a distraction for the players, but coach Andreas Alm is optimistic they will be able to compete on two fronts over the next few months.

"Most of the players have been injury-free for a long time, everyone has been a part of the team and taken important points,'' he said on www.aik.se.

"We do not have a big squad, but I would rather say we have a really good squad than one which boasts numbers.''

Robin Quasion (back) and Gabriel Ozkan (illness) are the only two fitness doubts for the hosts.
