Accrington manager Paul Cook has three major injury doubts ahead of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Morecambe.

Dean Winnard, Toto Nsiala, and George Miller all picked up knocks in the 3-0 victory at Cheltenham and will be unlikely to feature against the Shrimps.

Nsiala returned to the first-team following an ankle injury, but is not expected to play two games in four days.

Craig Lindfield replaced Winnard at Whaddon Road and is in line for a return to Cook's starting XI.

Rommy Boco was on the scoresheet for Stanley at the weekend but is unavailable for Tuesday's game as the suspension carried over from his former club Sligo Rovers comes into effect.

The Lancashire club are unbeaten in their last 11 meetings against Jim Bentley's side and will be hoping to continue that run to book their place in the second round.

Striker Danny Carlton is a major doubt for Morecambe.

Carlton replaced Kevin Ellison in the 3-0 victory at Bristol Rovers, but was then himself substituted just eight minutes later after sustaining a knock.

The 28-year-old is yet to start for the Shrimps so far this season, and is unlikely to feature in the cup clash.

Fellow forwards Richard Brodie and Izak Reid were both on the bench against the Pirates, and will be hoping to earn a start in Jim Bentley's squad.

Bentley's men have only lost one game on the road so far this season, a 2-0 defeat to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup.

Morecambe have a poor record at the Crown Ground, however, having failed to win any of their away trips to Stanley.
