Catania striker Alejandro Gomez is setting his sights on a record-breaking season having already equalled his best tally of goals for a single season.
The Argentinian striker has found the back of the net four times in Serie A this season and one more goal, perhaps against Chievo tomorrow, would be a personal best for him since arriving in Italian football.
Not only does he want to break that record, though, but he wants the Sicilians to carry on going from strength to strength.
"The coach keeps reminding me that I have the chance of going into double figures and he really wants me to do it,'' he said.
"With (Rolando) Maran in charge, I am playing further up the field and don't have to worry as much about defending.
"I feel ready and really think I can do it.''
However, Gomez insists his personal landmark would be secondary to the club's success and continued permanence in the top flight of Italian football.
"It would be great to get to at least 25 points before the winter break,'' he said on his club's website.
"We need to win tomorrow to build on our point against Cagliari. It's going to be tough because Chievo are very strong opponents - I have never won against them, like against Bologna or Cagliari.''
Chievo's strength has not been as tangible this season as in the past, but their goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino says this is because the whole of the league, apart from the top three, is very even.
"If we had beaten Udinese last weekend, we would have been in mid-table now,'' he said.
"That says it all. There is a big shift in power each matchday.
"Apart from against Napoli and Milan we have always picked up at least a point, which I think is important.
"I have good memories of playing against Catania and we all want to bring an end to our poor away record.''
Chievo have lost five games out of five on their travels while Catania, who could be forgiven for having one eye on next weekend's Sicilian derby with Palermo, have lost only once at home - against champions Juventus.
