Long-term injury victims Dene Droudge (knee) and Marc Lancaster (back) are the only injury absentees as Berwick look to open up a five-point gap on visitors Clyde.

The Borderers have not played at home for five weeks and manager Ian Little is looking to mark their return with a bang.

He said: "It seems that we have not been in front of our own fans for a long time and we want to enjoy returning to play in front of them again with a win.

"We will have to play well to win as Clyde have improved as a team throughout the season. The two games between us have been tight affairs but hopefully we can edge this one and start moving back towards the play-offs.''

Clyde could be without three defenders as they pop over the border.

David Marsh has definitely been ruled out with a groin problem while Ian Gray (concussion) and Gavin Brown (hamstring) are both facing late fitness checks.

On-loan Dumbarton midfielder Kevin Nicol is also expected to miss out due to a hamstring injury with Broadwood manager Jim Duffy predicting a tight affair at Shielfield.

Duffy said: "Both games have gone the way of the home sides this season. You could argue that they were both fortunate winners as well so that shows how little there is between the teams.

"It will no doubt be another of those Third Division games where the first goal is crucial and hopefully Clyde will score it.''
