Second-placed Queen's Park will have Paul Gallacher available for the visit of Annan.

Gallacher is fit again after a hamstring injury and looks set to take the place of Paul McGinn who has returned to St Mirren after his loan spell with Queen's expired.

Striker Ian Watt drops out of head coach Gardner Speirs' plans as he has joined junior side Carluke Rovers on loan.

Hampden chief Speirs is wary of facing Annan.

Ahead of the game he said: "Annan have a new manager and a number of new players so they will all be going out to impress.

"We have worked hard to get into second place and have no plans to let it go.''

Recently-appointed Annan manager Jim Chapman will take a much-changed side to Hampden.

Winger Daniel Orsi has joined on loan from Queen of the South and striker Lewis Hawke has signed up from Morton.

Kieran McGachie and Jack Steele left the club by mutual consent this week and Andrew Donley has joined St Cuthbert's on loan.

Meanwhile, Peter Watson (thigh), Chris Jardine (hamstring) and Graeme Ramage (knee) will all miss out through injury.

Chapman said: "This will be a tough game for us as Queen's Park are not second place without a reason. We will go there with a freshness about us and look to attack them. We will give it a real go and see where that takes us."
