Fraser Forster will be missing again for Celtic in their Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Kilmarnock at Parkhead.

The Hoops goalkeeper is on the mend following a neck injury which has kept him out of the last three matches.

Manager Neil Lennon said: "He is progressing slowly but will not be available. Sunday against Raith Rovers might be an opportunity but we don't want to rush him back.''

Lennon also claims there has been "nothing'' with regards further interest in striker Gary Hooper.

Norwich have had two bids rejected, the second of which Lennon said was "nowhere near'' the reported £6million, while there has been speculation that Tottenham could be ready to make an offer before the transfer window closes on Thursday night.

However, the Hoops boss expects to see new signing, Australian midfielder Tom Rogic, in Glasgow imminently.

The 20-year-old signed a four-and-a-half-year contract in moving from Central Coast Mariners for about £400,000.

Lennon said: "He has been away getting authorised by the British Embassy, he may be available for the weekend.''

Kilmarnock have signed Northern Ireland international Sammy Clingan on an 18-month deal.

The 29-year-old was looking for a club after being released by Doncaster last month following a short spell where he made nine appearances.

Manager Kenny Shiels said: "Sammy is a really good player. He passes the ball well, gets into good positions and knows the game so he is one we need badly.''

Clingan, who has 33 caps, started his career with Wolves before playing for Chesterfield, Nottingham Forest, Norwich and Coventry.

He is eligible to face Celtic although he is short of match fitness.
