Augsburg coach Markus Weinzierl continues to enjoy the full faith of his club despite remaining at the foot of the Bundesliga after a 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday.

The Bavarians were only five minutes away from their second win of the season, a result which would have taken them above local rivals Greuther Furth and off the bottom for the first time all season.

The late equaliser has not cast any doubt on Weinzierl's suitability for the job, though, according to the club's general manager Jurgen Rollmann.

"There has not been one bad word about Weinzierl from the club's management,'' he said.

"He has a three-year contract.''

Weinzierl also enjoys the faith of his players, who spoke out in support of him after recent rumours that Felix Magath had been sounded out about taking over.

"We made it clear that all of these rumours are unnecessary,'' said midfielder Daniel Baier. "We are right behind the coach.''

Goalscorer Sascha Molders added: "The discussion about the coach has not bothered us in the slightest.

"We are a team who do everything together and we will get away from the bottom together, too.''

Victory in Stuttgart would be a good start tomorrow night and Molders has vowed that he and his team mates will "do all that we possibly can'' to beat the Swabians.

Similar promises would be hard to deliver from Stuttgart, who are beginning to feel the strain after 22 competitive matches already this season.

Tiredness was clear to see as they were beaten 3-0 by Freiburg on Sunday, but there is little time for them to dwell on that defeat.

"It won't knocks us out, we have got to recharge our batteries once again,'' said forward Martin Harnik.

To help alleviate the tiredness, Labbadia is pondering a rotation of his side tomorrow night, and perhaps also at the weekend against Furth as they look to seal their place in the last 32 of the Europa League next Thursday with victory at home to Molde.
