Hannover coach Mirko Slomka hopes his side's good home record against Bayern Munich can be extended tomorrow, although he does not expect it to be easy against the Bundesliga champions.

Hannover have won three of their last four home games against the record German champions while they have yet to suffer defeat at the Niedersachsenstadion in 2013.

"We want to try to extend this streak,'' said Slomka. "It could be said that, when the points are at stake here, we are a side who Bayern fear particularly.

"We want to underline that in front of a full house. We want to seek our chance and, above all, give the fans a great game to watch.''

Bayern, who have already wrapped up their 23rd German league title, may have more than an eye on their Champions League semi-final tie with Barcelona next Tuesday.

However, Slomka does not expect that to help his side in any way and feels it could even be a greater challenge playing against fringe players.

"The players who do play will certainly want to show themselves off, at least for a place in the squad against Barcelona, if not for the starting XI,'' he said.

"Therefore, they are not going to come here just to allow themselves to be beaten.''

Indeed, at the pre-match press conference, Bayern coach Heynckes promised he would "field a team who can beat Hannover,'' adding that he must also "gauge who can cope with the Saturday-Tuesday rhythm.''

Manuel Neuer will keep his place in goal while Claudio Pizzaro and Mario Gomez will lead the line since Mario Mandzukic "has a swollen knee''.

"I've spent the last two days considering who still needs some match practice,'' added Heynckes.
