Bishop has been sidelined with a foot injury of late but the 30-year-old resumed training with Kevin Blackwell's squad this week, while on-loan Leicester forward Hopper was ineligible for last weekend's 1-1 draw with Southend in the FA Cup.

The pair's availability may mean Lenell John-Lewis having to settle for a place on the bench having made a surprise appearance in the starting XI following a knee problem against the Shrimpers.

Ben Parker joined the Shakers on non-contract terms on Thursday and is expected to be available to make his debut but, as of Friday, the club were still waiting on paperwork to confirm the former Leeds defender's eligibility.

Striker David Healy (calf) remains on the sidelines along with long-term injury victim Phil Picken (knee).

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has some welcome selection dilemmas.

Slade rested striker Kevin Lisbie, winger Lee Cook, midfielder Martin Rowlands and defender Ben Chorley at Northampton on Wednesday night.

But a much-changed Orient side still made it seven wins on the trot with a 3-0 victory in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Slade was also able to welcome back goalkeeper Jamie Jones (shoulder) and defender Scott Cuthbert (hamstring) from long-term injuries, and they will be hoping to keep their places.

But midfielder Anthony Griffith limped off early in the second half at Sixfields so he will need a late check, while defender Nathan Clarke is set to miss out again with ankle trouble.
