Evian coach Pascal Dupraz has called on his side to replicate the mid-week performance at Troyes as they travel to in form Nice for tomorrow's Ligue 1 clash.

The visitors were 2-0 winners on Wednesday night with Cedric Barbosa scoring both as they moved three points clear of the relegation zone.

Now Dupraz is calling for more of the same and has demanded his players are given more respect.

"We will try to repeat the performance of Wednesday night because in my humble opinion, the performance was very good,'' he told reporters.

"That win should serve to store trust. But there is something frustrating when we lose to Paris (4-0), it's my fault. When we win against Troyes, it is because they were weakened.

"In fact it is never because our players are good and we worked hard.''

Veteran striker Sidney Govou was was not even named on the bench for the match against Evian, with the 33-year-old dropped after he was replaced at half-time in their 4-0 defeat to Paris St Germain the week before.

He is yet to net in eight appearances this season and according to a defensive Dupraz, he is back in contention as are the likes of John Mensah, Ali M'Madi, Daniel Wass as well as Stephan Andersen, who all missed the Troyes victory.

"It is always better when you win,'' the boss added. "The wounds have healed faster and the sick heal faster than expected.

"Sidney Govou has always participated in training. I have no problem with him, he has behaved well.

"I have choices to make, that's all. So do not invent a problem with Sidney Govou. There is no inclination of him leaving.

"He is a boy who wants to bring all his experience and talent to our club.

"At half time of the PSG match, I took off Sidney, but apart from Bertrand (Laquait). I could remove all the others because the players did not make a good first period.

"Sidney has a great state of mind.''

Evian may have to rely on the experience of Govou as they take on a Nice side who have lost just once in their last nine matches.

Claude Puel's outfit are up to eighth in the Ligue 1 table, with their home form the foundation for their rise.

Nice have lost just once at the Stade Municipal du Ray stadium this season, winning their last five.

They will be without Cyril Hennion (groin strain), Papa Moussa M'bow and Diacko Forfana, who both have knee ligament injuries.
