Nice coach Claude Puel is playing down his latest return to the club with whom he spent two seasons from 2002 as he looks to maintain his own side's march into Europa League contention.
Puel leads his team to former club Lille on the back of just one defeat in their last 10 Ligue 1 games, including last week's 5-0 thumping of Valenciennes which propelled them to fifth place in the table.
But Puel is determined to keep his thoughts to himself, insisting: "My feelings are individual, but my six years at the club were constructive for both of us.
"I gained more experience and substance in my job, and the habit of having responsibilities. It was my passage as a trainer, during which I had a lot of fun.''
While Puel's current club are flying, Rudi Garcia's Lille continue to struggle having won just two of their last eight games in Ligue 1, slipping behind Nice to eighth place in the table.
Worse was to follow in midweek as Garcia's men were knocked out of the Coupe de la Ligue on penalties after a goalless draw at St Etienne - a defeat that threatened to come at a price.
Garcia will give late fitness tests to Rio Mavuba and Lucas Digne, who sustained leg and ankle injuries respectively in the game, while Florent Balmont suffered a sprained ankle. All are rated doubtful for tomorrow's contest.
