Lyon coach Remi Garde admits victory over Ligue 1 title rivals Marseille is important but far from decisive ahead of their clash at the Stade de Gerland.
Lyon are two points behind league leaders Paris St Germain and only three ahead of OM but with 10 games remaining after tomorrow's battle, Garde is keen to take the pressure off and focus on the rest of the season as a whole.
"It is a very important game for the two teams, but afterwards we will still play 10 games,'' Garde told the club's official website.
"That's a lot. We are still far from the end of the season. This game is not decisive.
"Of course, it is important to win against a direct competitor but all games are complicated to win.''
OL's form has been inconsistent in recent weeks, with two wins, two defeats and a draw since the start of last month.
Despite this, Lyon remain second, but Garde knows now is the time to tighten up and improve in all areas.
He said: "The idea is to be consistent. We do not care too much about others. If we keep this rate of two points per game, we will not be far off.
"The teams behind us, I see that Lille have their strengths. They were the team that caused us the most problems. St Etienne play with panache and win points and OM... These teams are entitled to a good end of the championship.''
Defender Anthony Reveillere is Lyon's only doubt for the match due to a groin strain while Yoann Gourcuff looks set to be included after he trained with the squad.
Meanwhile, Marseille coach Elie Baup is hoping to avoid a repeat of the 4-1 defeat by Lyon at the end of November.
"When you start a game, there is always the hope of success,'' Baup told footmercato.net.
"There will be a strong challenge, but at that level of intention, it will surely be an open game.
"Lyon are a big team in a good position, but we have quality.''
