Born in Phoenix, this former LA Galaxy star is a relative novice at international level as he has struggled to get game time since making his debut back in 2007 and there may have been moments when he wondered whether he made the right move by rejecting the advances of Trinidad & Tobago, who had been hoping he would commit his international future to their cause.

After impressing in the USA's pre-World Cup training camp, Findley earned himself a spot in the squad. Now he has to go one step further and make his World Cup impact this summer.
