Pato, 22, has been out of action since September 22 after suffering a thigh injury but may be available when Milan resume Serie A duties after the international break.
Pato's recovery could not come at a better time for coach Massimiliano Allegri considering he will be without the services of Italy striker Antonio Cassano until the new year.
Cassano underwent a cardiac produce for a heart defect earlier this month and is out indefinitely.
