In-demand Uruguay defender Sebastian Coates says that he expects his future to be decided soon, with Liverpool the latest to be linked to him.
Coates, 20, plays for Uruguayan champions Nacional and enjoyed a starring role in his country's Copa America winning side. The 6' 6'' centre-back had been linked with Juventus, Lazio, Porto and Benfica, before Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool arrived on the scene.
Now the youngster wants his future decided as soon as possible.
"This week I will talk about offers and decide whether to go or stay here," he told Ovacion. "There are a lot of teams interested in me but I would surely not go on loan.
"What I need is continuity so I don't lose my place in the national team.
"The Premier League? Do not discard any hypothesis. But the president [Robert Harrison] knows what my family and I want. The market is open until August 31 and I won't stop waiting. Certain leagues have already commenced and to go and play at a club that has already started could be a disadvantage."
Coates' father and agent Peter is currently understood to be in Europe discussing his son's future.
