Bryan Ruiz hopes his eye-catching goal for FC Twente at the weekend could persuade Tottenham to swoop for his services.
Ruiz, 25, has been linked with a move to Tottenham during the current transfer window, claiming earlier this summer that the Premier League club have expressed an intention to sign him.
Interest from Spurs, though, appears to have cooled, but after the Costa Rica international netted a fine goal during a 2-0 win over AZ on Saturday, Ruiz is hopeful the strike will serve as a reminder to Harry Redknapp of his quality.
Ruiz, who joined FC Twente from Gent in 2009, told Voetbal International. "I hope that my goal has removed any doubt from the minds of Spurs and any other clubs.
"The reluctance of clubs (to sign me) cannot be to do with my technical skills. I showed what I can do last season with Twente. My physical condition is not a concern. I am fit."
