Officials at Inter have previously indicated the deal for Eto'o to go to Russia was all but completed but, at a press conference in the Cameroonian city of Douala, the striker has said on Saturday that no decisions have been taken.
"The negotiations with Anzhi are still going. It is possible I'll go, just as it's possible I will stay," Eto'o said. "The truth is that right now I am an Inter player, but I won't rule out a surprise from England.
"We'll have to wait for the end of the transfer market, which will be soon enough. When I leave Cameroon, the negotiations will continue."
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is said to retain an interest in Eto'o.
