Fernando Gago's agent believes the Real Madrid midfielder would be a good signing for Inter Milan.
Reports suggest Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is happy to let Gago leave the Bernabeu this summer, and Inter are one of the clubs linked to a move for Argentina international.
"Gago is a top player and I think he could do well at Inter," Gago's representative Simone Picotti is quoted at Tuttomercatoweb.com. "It would be like home for him seeing that there are many Argentines there.
"We have to see what happens with Inter, but we are talking about a club at the top of the list. Gago would like to play there."
Gago, 25, had also been linked with a return to his former club Boca Juniors, but time is running out on that possibility with the transfer window in Argentina set to close on Friday night.
