Bojan Krkic has stressed he is committed to new club Roma despite the unusual buy-back clause inserted into his summer transfer from Barcelona.
Bojan, 20, joined Roma for €12 million this week, although Barca will re-sign him for €13 million in 2013 unless the Serie A club pay an extra €28 million.
Speaking at his first Roma press conference on Sunday, the Spaniard said: "It's not true that I wanted that clause, nor am I 'parked' here waiting for Barcelona.
"Please, out of respect for the Roma fans, I'd like us not to talk about this any more. I can't say if I'll stay for many years or return to Barcelona, but I just want to focus on the Giallorossi.
"I am very happy to have joined such a great club as Roma. Clearly the fact Luis Enrique is here influenced my decision, as he respects me both as a player and a man."
"The Roma project is an exciting one and I think we have the right mix of youth and experience to make the fans very happy. Pressure does not weigh on my shoulders. I welcome it."
