Stijnen rejects Celtic trial
Belgian goalkeeper Stijn Stijnen has rejected the chance to go on trial at Celtic.

Stijnen, 30, is currently available on a free transfer and Celtic boss Neil Lennon has been looking to add to his goalkeeping options this summer.
However, Stijnen told Het Laatste Nieuws: "I am Stijn Stijnen. I've played 30 times for the Belgian national team and in quite a lot European and Champions League games. Why should I prove myself in a friendly game?"
His agent, Renee Vandermeersch, added: "Stijn doesn't want a trial period. If he signs somewhere the full story has to fit. There is interest for Stijn from foreign clubs, but also Belgian sides."
The goalkeeper ended an 11-year stint with Club Brugge in February after comments appeared on a messageboard praising Stijnen and criticising his team-mates and the club's management. His brother and girlfriend took responsibility for the posts.
