Udinese owner Gianpaolo Pozzo has claimed the momentum is again swinging towards Manchester City as the battle to sign Alexis Sanchez rages on.

It had appeared Sanchez, 22, was on the brink of joining Barcelona, with Pozzo confirming the Champions League winners were in pole position, but now it seems City are best placed to meet the €50 million asking price.
"If he was to leave, I would say that City have the highest probability of success," Pozzo said.
Barcelona have seemingly turned their attention back towards Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas, having reportedly lodged a £27 million bid at the end of last week, while El Mundo Deportivo claims they are looking into the possibility of signing Sergio Aguero as a cheaper alternative to Sanchez.
The Mail on Sunday claims City are ready to offer £38 million (€42.7 million), but they will face a race against time to complete the deal, as the Copa America, which starts on July 4, is set to complicate the flow of negotiations.
Udinese stand to make a significant profit on Sanchez, whom they bought from Cobreloa for around €2 million in 2006. He made 27 starts and scored 12 goals as Udinese finished in fourth place in Serie A last season.
