Hamburg sporting director Frank Arnesen is lining up a loan move for Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma.
Bruma, 19, made his first Premier League start for Chelsea in January but has had limited first-team opportunities and was allowed to make a loan switch to Championship side Leicester in February.
Having already won an international cap with Netherlands, though, he is expected to have a bright future and Arnesen is eager to secure the player on loan for the next two years.
Arnesen told the club's official website: "Jeffrey Bruma is on duty with the Netherlands actually. Afterwards we will meet and talk about it. We will look each other straight in the eye. We will decide what is best for Jeffrey Bruma and Hamburger SV."
Arnesen, who had worked as Chelsea's sporting director until last month, recently completed a deal to take Michael Mancienne from Stamford Bridge.
