Barcelona's unhappy on loan midfielder Alexander Hleb has said that he wants to return to Germany's Bundesliga at the end of the season.
Hleb starred for Stuttgart before earning a move to Arsenal in 2005, but then an unsuccessful move to the Nou Camp followed and he has been farmed out on loan at Die Schwaben and Birmingham ever since.
The Belarus international claims that he is unsure quite where his future lies, as he is still under contract at Barcelona, but that he definitely wants to return to Germany.
"I would love to be rejoining a club in the Bundesliga," he told Bild. "The league has been making a huge progress. Schalke is a great example of that - progressing to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
"If my heart could decide, I would be moving back to Stuttgart. However, I am unable to decide this as I am under contract with Birmingham City and have a deal left at Barcelona until June 2012."
