The deal that will see American businessman Thomas DiBenedetto purchase Roma has been signed, subject to regulatory approval.

DiBenedetto - who is also a partner in New England Sports Ventures, the company that owns Liverpool and the Boston Red Sox - is to assume control of the club from the Sensi family, and made the announcement in a press conference in Boston.
Reports suggest the group, whose ownership is split 60-40 between DiBenedetto and Italian bank UniCredit, have bought 67% of the club for a fee of €70.3 million (£62.2 million).
The deal, agreed last month but not signed until now, sees Roma become the first club in Serie A under foreign ownership.
"We are very happy,'' DiBenedetto said. "The business aspect has been very important but I love Rome and I want to do something big for this city. I am proud of my Italian origins and for this reason I will do big things. I didn't expect so much attention.
"I knew of the great passion from the Romans and this has been one of the reasons for doing this. I share this passion. I never played but my father played in the American Soccer League.''
"There have been complicated points but I never felt like giving up,'' DiBenedetto said. "I was determined to overcome the obstacles, and thanks to the patience of the banks and our partners, we have passed those difficulties.''
