LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham claims he cannot pick between Tottenham and Real Madrid in the Champions League, having played for both clubs.
Beckham spent four seasons at the Bernabeu before moving to America, while he also came close to signing a loan deal at White Hart Lane in January and trained with the side ahead of the new MLS season.
Now, the two clubs are set to face off in the Champions League quarter-finals, for the chance to play either Barcelona or Shakhtar Donetsk in the semis, but Beckham's loyalties are divided.
"I played for Real Madrid for four years and I've always said that I would support them,'' Beckham said. ''But I was also with Spurs, so there are mixed emotions because my granddad was a fan. I'm just going to enjoy the game."
