Suarez, 24, sealed his move from Ajax in the final hours of the transfer window on Monday, but there was doubt about his availability for the Potters' visit to Anfield due to a paperwork wrangle.

The deal was sealed well within time, but the Reds had to apply for international clearance in order to field their £22.8 million signing.

And Kenny Dalglish confirmed that the club had received positive news on Wednesday morning, allowing the Uruguay international to be included in the squad with the likelihood being that he will make his debut an Anfield.

Suarez's fellow deadline-day capture Andrew Carroll is unavailable to Dalglish, as he ontinues his recovery from a thigh injury.
