A-League leaders Brisbane Roar extended their unbeaten run to 21 games as James Meyer's fine second-half strike earned a 3-3 draw with Central Coast Mariners at Bluetongue Stadium.

Brisbane took the lead after 23 minutes through Erik Paartalu but Central Coast hit back eight minutes before the break when Adam Kwasnik scored following Oliver Bozniac's pass.

Patricio Perez's free-kick set-up Matt Simon to put the Mariners in front two minutes into the second period only for an unmarked Thomas Broich to draw Brisbane level in the 65th minute.

Central Coast retook the lead nine minutes later when Milan Susak fouled Joshua Rose in the box, with the former collecting a second yellow card for his trouble. Perez made no mistake from the spot.

However, Meyer's powerful right-footed drive five minutes later ensured the points were shared. Brisbane now lead Adelaide United by 10 points, although they have played a game more than their rivals.
