England have been drawn Romania in the play-offs for the UEFA Under-21 Championships in Denmark.
Stuart Pearce's side, who finished second in Group 9 and qualified as one of the best-placed runners up, will take on the winners of Group 1 for a place in next summer's finals.
Scotland, who topped Group 10, will play Group 5 runners-up Iceland.
England and Scotland could have ended up playing each other and are likely to be delighted with the outcome after also avoiding the big names of European football.
England will play the first leg of their tie at home, while Scotland will travel away first.
Next month's play-offs will determine the seven teams to join hosts Denmark at next year's finals, which are being held between June 11 and 25.
