Roma have signed Nicolas Burdisso from Inter on a four-year contract following the Argentina defender's loan spell at the club last season.
The deal, worth €8 million to the Italian champions over three years, has been confirmed on Roma's website.
"AS Roma announces it has finalised the contract with FC Internazionale for Nicolas Burdisso, with effect from today," a statement read. "For this outright acquisition, a fee of €8 million will go to Inter."
Roma added that the player will earn €3.8 million for his first season and €4.5 million in each of the following three campaigns.
The move will see 29-year-old Burdisso link up with his younger brother Guillermo, who joined the club earlier this month.
