Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Andy Keogh has joined Cardiff City on a season-long loan, the Welsh club have announced.
Keogh is one of a number of Premier League loanees to have signed for the Bluebirds, following Manchester City's Craig Bellamy and Wigan's Jason Koumas to the City of Cardiff Stadium.
"We can confirm that striker Andy Keogh has this afternoon [Wednesday] joined the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan," said Cardiff's official website.
"Republic of Ireland international Andy will link up with the squad in Cardiff tomorrow and will be available for selection this weekend in our away trip to Portsmouth. He will wear the No. 17 shirt."
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy confirmed the deal was in place following Wolves' Carling Cup win over Southend on Tuesday.
"Andy has been fabulous here both for me and this football club," McCarthy told Wolves' official website. "It's a good move for him to go to Cardiff and good luck to him.''
