Remy okay to play for Marseille after heart scare
Marseille striker Loic Remy has been given the green light to resume playing activities, after discovering that a previously undetected heart defect is not as serious as first thought.

Remy joined the Ligue 1 champions last week but his official presentation was put on hold when a second set of tests showed a heart defect which wasn't picked up in the medical.
After a further diagnosis of the problem, Remy has now been told he can start training with his new team-mates.
"The extensive tests undergone by Loic Remy have shown that the heart defect, diagnosed late last week, will not prevent him from carrying out his profession," a statement on Marseille's official wesbite said. "It is suitable for high performance sport.''
Remy is now expected to forge a new strike partnership with another recent signing, Andre-Pierre Gignac, and the former Nice forward has admitted his relief at being able to continue playing.
"I knew I had a heart with a thick wall, I had already had tests on that but not as extensive,'' he said. "When you talk about having to end your career it is not good. Now I can resume training and I have come through this stronger.''
