Newcastle United goalkeeper Fraser Forster has joined Celtic on a season-long loan from, the Scottish club have confirmed.
Forster, 22, becomes Neil Lennon's 10th signing of the summer and will train with his new team-mates at Lennoxtown for the first time on Tuesday.
The 6ft 7in keeper was on loan at Norwich last season, where he worked under former Celtic midfielder Paul Lambert and where he was voted the Players' Player of the Year.
Forster was at Parkhead on Sunday to see Celtic beat St Mirren 4-0 in the Scottish Premier League.
Lennon has been looking for a keeper to challenge Lukasz Zaluska since Artur Boruc signed for Fiorentina and after the St Mirren game.
"He's a big boy, he's come highly recommended, " Lennon said. "I've watched him myself a couple of times.
"His age, 22, is the only thing going against him because otherwise he has all the qualities you look for in a goalkeeper.
"He's got a massive presence and he's come highly recommended from people in the game whose opinion I trust. We've needed competition in that area so he'll add to that.''
