Sevilla have released Uruguayan striker Javier Chevanton to pave the way for his return to Lecce.

Chevanton, who had a year left on his contract at the Sanchez Pizjuan, has been freed up to move to the Serie A club he represented with distinction between 2001 and 2004.

Sevilla also confirmed midfielder Lolo has been given permission to join Osasuna.
