Villarreal have announced midfielder David Fuster will join Olympiakos after the clubs reached an agreement.

The Valencian attacking midfielder, who joined Villarreal in 2004, had a decent campaign in his first senior season with the club in 2009-10 but has been allowed to head for Greece.

Fuster will link up with former Villarreal boss Ernesto Valverde, who has also signed Spain international Albert Riera this summer. The ambitious Greek club have also signed Dennis Rommedahl, striker Marko Pantelic and Fuster's former Villarreal team-mate Ariel Ibagaza.
