Rangers look set to land Manchester City winger Vladimir Weiss as they have reportedly offered a larger loan fee than Celtic.

Weiss is in Glasgow to sign a season-long loan deal and Ibrox chief executive Martin Bain has been leading the negotiations to tie up a deal for the Slovakian, who has found a first-team place at Eastlands hard to come by.
German side Stuttgart claimed on Wednesday that they were one of a number of clubs keen on bringing the winger in, with Celtic also having offered him a loan option.
Rangers have already brought in former England striker James Beattie, while Honduras striker Georgie Welcome has also been on trial at Ibrox in the hope of clinching a move to the defending Scottish Premier League champions.
