USA international Jonathan Bornstein has agreed to sign for Mexican side Tigres UNAL on January 1.

Bornstein, 25, is currently playing for MLS side Chivas USA but his contract will expire at the end of the season.

"I'm excited to join Tigres and ready for all the changes that will come with the move," Bornstein said. "It will be a big moment for me and I'm looking forward to it."

Bornstein made two appearances for USA at this summer's World Cup.
