El Gouna could look to sign Mohamed 'Gedo' Nagy from Egyptian rivals Alexandria United, according to reports.

Gedo, 25, rose to prominence in January during the African Nations Cup when he scored five goals in his role as a substitute for Egypt, including the winner in the final against Ghana.

The attacking midfielder, who can also play as a striker, faces a suspension after apparently signing for Zamalek earlier this year as well as extending his contract with Alexandria.

However, FilGoal reports that Gouna - who narrowly averted relegation last season - remain eager to tie up a deal.
