The Los Angeles Galaxy continued their impressive start to the season with a 4-0 win over the Seattle Sounders.

The Galaxy, the Major League Soccer Western Conference leaders, won the game thanks to goals from Jovan Kirovski (22), Omar Gonzalez (52), Todd Dunivant (57) and Landon Donovan (67).
Houston Dynamo remain nine points behind following a 2-0 win at Chivas USA. The visitors got off to a dream start when Brad Davis gave them the lead in the fourth minute and Adrian Serioux added a second in the eighth.
San Jose Earthquakes are a point behind but with two games in hand following a 4-0 victory over Eastern Conference leaders Red Bull New York.
Luke Sassano was dismissed after just 13 minutes for the visitors but it took the Earthquakes until the last minute of the half to break the deadlock through Ryan Johnson. Second-half goals from Joey Gjertsen, Chris Wondolowski and Bobby Burling sealed the result.
Columbus Crew are now four points behind Red Bull, with two games in hand, after Robbie Rogers' stoppage-time winner helped them to a 3-2 victory over the New England Revolution.
Zac Boggs gave the visitors the lead on the half-hour mark but Eddie Gaven levelled seconds later before Cory Gibbs' own goal. Boggs' second of the night just before the interval looked to have secured a draw before Rogers' late winner.
Meanwhile, Jeff Cunningham scored the only goal of the game as FC Dallas beat DC United.
Elsewhere, Real Salt Lake were 3-0 winners at home to the Philadelphia Union while Toronto FC hammered the Chicago Fire 4-1 at home as Chad Barrett scored twice.
