Tshabalala, 25, was quoted as saying he will look to move on this summer and has been linked with a move to Turkey.

However, he has denied making those comments and insists he would be happy to remain in South Africa.

"I was misquoted by those who wrote it," he told Kick Off. "I never said I'm leaving after the World Cup. What I said was my dream is definitely to play overseas, but it came out all wrong.

"I'm still contracted to Kaizer Chiefs and I'm very happy to play for this team and, to be honest with you, I haven't even thought about going overseas now, because I'm focusing on helping Bafana during the World Cup.

"We will see how it goes after that. I will really love to play abroad, but between you and me I never said after the World Cup I'm gone. When the time is right, I will be ready to go."
