Velez Sarsfield destroyed Venezuela's Deportivo Italia 4-0 to reach the last 16 of the Copa Libertadores. Midfielder Victor Zapata fired the Argentinean side ahead after he connected with Emiliano Papa's free kick and striker Rodrigo Lopez doubled their lead from the spot.

Man-of-the-match Lopez then set-up Papa before grabbing his second from outside the box. The win left Velez top of of Group Seven with 13 points, two ahead of Brazil's Cruzeiro, who clinched a vital 1-1 draw against Chile's Colo Colo.
Colo Colo needed the win as they looked to try and secure second spot in the group but the visitors opened the scoring through Thiago Ribeiro's shot from distance, before Rodrigo Millar equalised.
In Group Four, Paraguayan side Libertad came from behind to win 2-1 at Bolivia's Blooming and book their place in the next round.
Blooming's Julio Urtado broke the deadlock with a free kick just before the half-hour mark, but Alberto Roman levelled the match with a header before the break and Rodolfo Gamarra claimed the winner in the second half.
In the other Group Four match, Argentina's Lanus played out a goalless draw against Peru's Universitario and were eliminated from the competition.
Libertad finished in top spot ahead of Universitario, who will have to wait to see if they are one of the best six runners-up that progress to the next round.
