Primera Division strugglers Real Zaragoza have continued to re-shape their squad with the signing of striker Adrian Colunga and the release of veteran defender Roberto Ayala.
The 25-year-old Colunga has joined on loan from Segunda Division Recreativo Huelva until the end of the season with Zaragoza's Brazilian striker Braulio moving to Recre on a similar deal.
Colunga becomes Zaragoza's fourth signing of the January transfer window, following in the footsteps of Jiri Jarosik, Humberto Suazo and Eliseu.
Zaragoza have also bid farewell to Ayala, who has reached an agreement with the club to rescind his contract.
Ayala joined Zaragoza in 2007 and played 81 competitive games for them. The 36-year-old former Argentina international counts River Plate, AC Milan and Valencia among his previous employers.
Zaragoza, who are currently in the bottom two of the Primera Division, have also agreed to let Cameroon winger Franck Songo'o join Real Sociedad on loan for the remainder of the season.
