Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has been ruled out for about a month with a thigh strain, the Serie A club said in a statement on Friday.
The Mali international, who only just returned to action after a broken foot, was injured in the 5-1 hammering of Sampdoria on Wednesday and will miss at least three Serie A games and next week's Champions League trip to Maccabi Haifa.
Strikers Alessandro Del Piero and Vincenzo Iaquinta are among a number of other Juve players on the treatment table with some observers blaming their training ground for a flurry of injuries in the last year.
